So, I’m about 7 years behind on this one but I just caught hold of The Hire, a series of 8 short films, all starring Clive Owen as “The Driver”, by 8 critically acclaimed directors, mostly to show off a series of BMW’s. Some notable directors include Tony Scott (Man on Fire, Top Gun), John Woo (Face/Off, Mission:Impossible 2), Guy Ritchie (Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), and Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces). Don Cheadle, Mickey Rourke, Forrest Whittaker, and Gary Oldman all make different cameos. All 8 films are worth the watch and you can find them all on YouTube.
