I live in Orlando, so for tips I would just say be prepared for a lot of rain and brutal summer heat. But the beaches are great if you can beat the crowd. It’s a pretty relaxed city and downtown is not all that big but there are some really great spots around. Too bad the only real sports team here is the Magic. Congrats!
